Medical Description

Sucral-O suspension is used to treat ulcers and prevent the reoccurrence of ulcers in the stomach and intestine. It also provides relief from pain, post-meal acidity and heartburn associated with acid reflux and inflammation in the stomach.

Sucral-O suspension is an oral suspension that contains two main ingredients, Sucralfate and Oxetacaine. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It should preferably be taken 1 hour before food.

Sucrafil O Sugar-free gel, Macralfate O Sugar-free gel and Sucrace O suspension are some other medicines containing sucralfate and oxetacaine as their active ingredients. Before starting the Sucral-O suspension, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
