Sorbitrate Tablet
Description
Sorbitrate 5 tablets are used to manage angina, a condition characterised by severe heart pain. Angina causes intense chest pain that may radiate, mainly due to reduced blood flow to the heart. It contains isosorbide dinitrate, which relaxes the heart muscles and enhances blood and oxygen supply.
Follow your doctor's instructions and take Sorbitrate for the prescribed duration. Do not stop taking this medication on your own. Sudden discontinuation may worsen your condition. Avoid alcohol while using Sorbitrate 5 mg tablets, as their combination could cause a significant drop in blood pressure. Take the medication while sitting down, and be cautious when changing position. Rise slowly from sitting or lying down.
Common side effects include headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and tiredness. These usually resolve over time, but if they persist, consult your doctor or visit a nearby clinic.
Isordil 5mg tablet, Anzidin 5mg tablet, Isonit 5mg tablet, and Sorbiman 5mg tablet also contain isosorbide dinitrate as their main component.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if you are taking any other medications, supplements, or have any health conditions or diseases before starting this medicine.
