Sorbitrate 5 MG Description

Sorbitrate 5 tablet is used to manage angina, a condition associated with severe heart pain. Angina results in severe chest pain with radiating effects, mainly caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. It contains isosorbide dinitrate, which relaxes heart muscles and improves blood and oxygen supply.

Follow your doctor's instructions and take Sorbitrate for the prescribed duration. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Abrupt stopping of this medicine may worsen the health further. Avoid alcohol while taking Sorbitrate 5 mg tablets, as their combination might cause a severe drop in blood pressure. Take medication while sitting down and use caution when changing position (rise from sitting or lying position slowly).

Some common side effects of Sorbitrate 5 tablets are headache, drowsiness, dizziness and tiredness. These side effects generally go away with time, but if you feel they continue, you should consult your doctor or visit a nearby clinic. Isordil 5mg tablet, Anzidin 5mg tablet, Isonit 5mg tablet, and Sorbiman 5mg tablet are a few more medicines that also include isosorbide dinitrate as their main component.

Inform your doctor about your pregnancy, plans for pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and disclose all medications, supplements, conditions, and diseases before starting this medicine.
