Sorbitrate 5 tablets are used to manage angina, a condition characterised by severe heart pain. Angina causes intense chest pain that may radiate, mainly due to reduced blood flow to the heart. It contains isosorbide dinitrate, which relaxes the heart muscles and enhances blood and oxygen supply.

Follow your doctor's instructions and take Sorbitrate for the prescribed duration. Do not stop taking this medication on your own. Sudden discontinuation may worsen your condition. Avoid alcohol while using Sorbitrate 5 mg tablets, as their combination could cause a significant drop in blood pressure.
