Ripe Kit Forte is a prescription medicine mainly used to treat and prevent tuberculosis or TB infection. Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious bacterial infection that mainly attacks the lungs. If left u
ntreated, it can also affect other body parts such as lymph nodes, kidneys, brain, spine, and skeletal muscle. Ripe Kit Forte is composed of five active ingredients: Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol, and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Together this combination medicine kills the bacteria called ‘Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is a responsible organism for TB (tuberculosis) infection, hence controlling the infection. Ripe Kit Forte should be taken as recommended by your treating physician. The treatment duration depends on various aspects, such as the patient's condition. It is also recommended to complete the entire course of the treatment, to eradicate TB Infection from the body completely. Do not suddenly stop taking medication as it can affect the potency of the medicine or may lead to drug resistance Tuberculosis is very challenging to treat.

Contraindications of Ripe Kit Forte
- If you are allergic to any component of Ripe Kit Forte i.e Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol, and Vitamin B6.
- If you have any vision complaints like optic neuritis.
- If you have a history of alcohol consumption.
- If you have gout.
- If you have peripheral neuropathy (pain caused by damage to the nerves),
- If you have liver disease.
- If you have kidney disease.
- If you are using anti-viral medicines like HIV medicines.

- You can take the Ripe Kit Forte before or after consuming food or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not stop taking Ripe Kit Forte suddenly, as it can lead to drug resistance.
- Do not take Ripe Kit Forte with other medications without informing your doctor.
