Retense OD tablet ER is a medication used to treat chronic pain, such as headaches, muscle pain, postoperative pain, and menstrual cramps. The drug is an analgesic and helps with all types of pain. C
ommon side effects include fatigue, dizziness, nausea, dry mouth, bloating and itching. The dose of the duration of this medicine varies among individuals depending on the severity and condition it is being used for. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of medication within 24 hours. If you observe any severe symptoms or have overdosed on the medication, contact your physician immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

Directions for Use of Retense Od 400 MG
- Take this medication in the dose and for the duration as advised by your doctor
- Do not chew, crush or break the tablet in half
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water
- Take it with or without food as advised by your doctor
Interactions of Retense Od 400 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of flupirtine with warfarin has shown to increase warfarin toxicity
- Co-administration of retense tablets with paracetamol increases the hepatotoxic potential of paracetamol
- Sedatives like benzodiazepines potentiate tiredness and dizziness when taken with flupirtine
- Co-administration of carbamazepine induces hepatic enzymes
