Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Paracetamol, Diclofenac or other ingredients of the medicine.
- If you have severe heart problems like heart failure, high blood pressure or brain diseases.
- If you have liver, kidney disorder or dysfunction.
- If you experience asthma, skin rashes, swelling and allergies after taking aspirin or other painkillers.
- If you have a history of stomach ulcers and bleeding or have an active ulcer.
- If you are pregnant, in the third trimester of pregnancy.

- You have kidney or liver problems.
- You are an elderly patient or taking diuretics or have kidney disorders; the medicine increases the risk of kidney failure, the doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.
- You suffer from gastrointestinal problems like bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation) or Crohn's disease.
- You have asthma, as the medicine worsen the same.
- You have an autoimmune disease called systemic lupus erythematosus.
- You are an alcoholic, as concomitant use of the medicine damages the liver.
- You have disorders related to blood clotting.
- You suffer from skin rashes and lesions after taking the medicine.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Medicines affect the way Reactin plus tablet works or Reactin plus tablet itself affects the action of other medicines taken at the same time.
- If you are taking NSAIDs to treat the pain or taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart conditions, mental illnesses.
- Medicines like cyclosporine and tacrolimus used to modify immune response cause kidney damage if taken with Reactin Plus tablet.
- Reactin Plus tablet increases the risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding if taken along with steroidal medicines.
- Reactin Plus tablet increases the risk of bleeding if taken with blood thinners like Warfarin and Coumarin.
- Increases the risk of fits if you are taking the medicine with antibiotics like Levofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin.
- If you are taking medicines to treat diabetes, be cautious about symptoms of low glucose levels like sweating, anxiety, fast heartbeat and hunger pangs.
- Reactin Plus tablet must be taken one hour before, or 4-6 hours after consumption of Colestipol and Cholestyramine (medicines used to lower cholesterol levels).
- Reactin Plus tablet must not be consumed at least for 8-10 days after taking a medicine containing Mifepristone.
- Be cautious if you are taking medicines like Phenobarbital, Carbamazepine and Phenytoin (medicines to treat brain-related disorders).
- Probenecid (used to treat gout), Rifampicin (used to treat tuberculosis), Zidovudine ( used for HIV infections), herbal preparations like St. John's Wort and Methotrexate must be used cautiously.
- Inform the physician about the medicines, supplements or herbals you are taking or might take to avoid possible interaction.
