Medical Description

Rabemac-DSR capsules are used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus. This combination medicine contains rabeprazole, which reduces stomach acid production, and domperidone, which improves stomach emptying. By neutralizing excess acid, Rabemac-DSR helps relieve symptoms like heartburn and stomach discomfort.

Take Rabemac-DSR as directed by your doctor, typically 30 minutes before meals. Do not skip doses or increase the prescribed dosage. Possible side effects include headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain, which usually subside.

Before starting Rabemac-DSR, inform your doctor about all medications, supplements, and medical conditions, especially if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

You should not give this medicine to children of 12 years and below.
You have low levels of vitamin B12. This medicine is known to reduce the absorption of vitamin B12 after long-term use. Supplements may be needed.
