Quadrovax SD vaccine is a combination vaccine of four active ingredients. It can be used for the prevention of Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Hemophilus Influenza type B disease in children. This
medicine induces antibody formation inside the body against infectious agents for which it is being used and thus prevents individuals from getting these infections. This medicine can cause very common side effects like loss of appetite, high-grade fever, swelling, pain and redness at the site of injection, unusual crying, restlessness, irritation and sleepiness. Quadrovax SD vaccine is to be administered by your doctor or nurse. It can also be given along with other vaccines at the same time with different syringes and different sites of injection. Always inform your doctor if your child is taking any other medicines for the treatment of immune-related diseases.

Contraindications of Quadrovax Sd Vial Of 0.5ml Vaccine
- If your child is allergic to any of the components of the Quadrovax SD vaccine.
- If your child has an active infection along with a fever.
- If your child had experienced nervous system related side effects within 7 days of previous vaccination against the Pertussis disease.

- Your child has suffered from a very high fever.
- Your child has experienced a sudden fall.
- Your child is crying persistently crying for 3 hours or more.
- Your child experiences a fit attack within 48 to 72 hours after taking the same vaccine or other vaccines only for pertussis disease previously.
- Your child is suffering from any brain disease, fits attack and bleeding disorders before taking this medicine.
- Hemophilus Influenza type B component of this vaccine does not protect your child against diseases due to other types of Haemophilus influenzae infection and inflammation of membranes around the brain caused by other organisms. A family history of fit attacks due to fever and HIV infections should not be considered as contraindication from using this medicine....
