Interactions of Primibet 2 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of cytochrome P450 enzymes such as anticonvulsants and antiinfectives may increase the metabolism of oestrogens
- Concomitant use of HIV medications may increase or decrease plasma concentrations of oestrogen
- Strong or moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors like azole antifungals can increase plasma concentrations of the oestrogen
- Co-administration of estradiol with anastrozole decreases the effects of anastrozole by opposing drug effects
- Levothyroxine, when used with estradiol may affect the thyroid levels and, therefore should be used with caution
