- Odep 10 mg tablets are used in the management of
- Depression
- Neuropathic pain
- Migraine
Contraindications
- Allergy
- If you are allergic to the Odep 10 mg tablet, don't take it. If you detect any symptoms such as a skin rash, itching/swelling (particularly of the face/tongue/throat), extreme dizziness, difficulty breathing, etc., seek medical help right once.
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MOAI)
- MAOI is a type of antidepressant medication. If you've used MAOIs in the last 14 days, the Odep 10 mg tablet isn't recommended because of the increased risk of serious side effects.
- Heart Attack
- If you've recently had a heart attack, Odep 10 mg Tablet isn't recommended because it could make things worse.
- Severe liver disease
- Odep 10 mg Tablet is not recommended if you have serious liver problems as it may cause further liver damage.

- If you are a child- Due to a lack of safety and efficacy data, Odep 10 mg tablet is not indicated for use in children under the age of 18 for the treatment of depression, neuropathic pain, or migraine in children under the age of 18.
- If you are elderly- Because of the increased risk of side effects, the Odep 10 mg tablet should be used with caution in older people. Depending on the clinical situation, appropriate dose changes may be required.
- If you experience withdrawal symptoms- Odep 10 mg tablet should not be stopped suddenly because it can cause headaches, weakness, exhaustion, sleep difficulties, irritability, and other unpleasant side effects. Under the direction of your doctor, gradually reduce your dose over time.
- If you have hypotension- A high dose of Odep 10 mg tablet should be used with caution because it can raise your chance of developing low blood pressure. While taking this medication, it is essential that you monitor your blood pressure on a frequent basis.
Directions for Use
- Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of this medication.
- Take it all in at once.
- It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken.
- Odep 10 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, however, it's best if you take it at the same time every day.

Interactions with other medicines
- Cisapride
- Notify your doctor if you are taking this medication. When using these drugs together, you may need a dose adjustment. Palpitation, a change in pulse rate, dizziness, and excessive perspiration are all heart-related concerns that should be reported right away.
- Clozapine
- If you take this drug, tell your doctor since the risk of heart problems in such cases is very high. While taking them together, you may need a dose change and clinical safety monitoring. Your doctor may recommend an alternative medication that may not interact with Clozapine to avoid adverse effects.
- Fluoxetine
- When these drugs are taken combined, the chances of side effects such as tiredness, dry mouth, vision abnormalities, disorientation, and others are very high. Your doctor may prescribe an alternative to Odep 10 mg Tablet that does not interact with it.
- Linezolid
- Before using Linezolid, tell your doctor if you've been taking Odep 10 MG Tablet. If these drugs are taken together, you may observe side effects such as confusion, hallucinations, convulsions, and coma. Before starting Linezolid, your doctor may tell you to discontinue using Odep 10 MG Tablet.
- Ondansetron
- When these medications are taken together, the risk of cardiac problems is very high. In such events, appropriate dose adjustments and clinical safety monitoring may be required.
