Medical Description
Neorelax MR tablet is a painkiller and fever-reducing medicine. It is used to relieve pain associated with arthritis, headaches, colds, muscle cramps, menstrual pain, tooth pain, etc. It is a combination medicine containing aceclofenac, paracetamol, and thiocolchicoside as active substances. Neorelax MR tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant women. You should take this medicine for the prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Before starting treatment with Neorelax MR tablet, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and provide your detailed medical history.
Uses
- Neorelax MR tablet is used for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Headache, toothache, colds, influenza, and menstrual cramps.
- Painful muscle contractions.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, thiocolchicoside, or any of the ingredients of Neorelax MR tablet.
- If you are taking any other product that contains paracetamol.
- If you have a history of peptic ulcers or any blood disorder.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

- Do not store Neorelax MR tablets above 25°C.
- This medicine must be kept away from the reach of children and pets.
Quick Tips
- This medicine is recommended for short-term use only. Do not take more than the daily prescribed dose of Neorelax Mr tablet, as it may affect the liver or cause allergic reactions.
- You should inform your doctor if you have experienced bleeding in the stomach or peptic ulcers, have heart-related problems, or allergy to painkillers (NSAIDs) in the past.
- Neorelax Mr tablet is not recommended if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult your doctor.
- Some people may experience stomach pain, diarrhoea, dizziness or nausea/vomiting while using Neorelax Mr tablet. These symptoms usually go away on their own.

- Some medicines can affect the way the Neorelax MR tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Medicines used to treat nausea or vomiting like metoclopramide or domperidone when used concomitantly can alter the effect of this medicine.
- The effect of blood pressure reducing medicines like captopril, enalapril, antidepressants like lithium, and medicines used to treat gout like probenecid can be altered when used concomitantly with this medicine.
- The effect of medicines to treat heart conditions like digoxin and HIV medicines like zidovudine is decreased when used along with this tablet.
- Water pills like furosemide, when used together with this medicine, can result in reduced potassium levels in the blood.
- The effect of blood thinners like warfarin can be enhanced when used together with this medicine.
