Migrapac tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of migraine. It contains a combination of caffeine, ergotamine, paracetamol and prochlorperazine as its active ingredients. Migraine is a type of

headache that usually occurs on one side of your head and causes throbbing pain. It is often accompanied by symptoms like nausea and sickness, and visual disturbances, sensitivity to light, etc. Migrapac tablet works by the combined action of its all ingredients and provides symptomatic relief in migraine and associated symptoms. The dose, frequency and duration of the treatment will be decided by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at the prescribed dose and duration as advised by your treating doctor. Along with the medication you should also try to avoid migraine triggering factors such as stress, poor sleeping patterns, direct sunlight, tiredness, certain medications like sleeping pills, etc.

Migrapac tablet is used for the treatment and prevention of migraine attacks along with associated symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, visual disturbance, etc.

Contraindications of Migrapac Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you are allergic to caffeine, ergotamine, paracetamol and prochlorperazine or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you are already taking any other medicine containing any of the active ingredients present in the Migrapac tablet.
If your age is below 16 years or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have any pre-existing medical condition such as liver or kidney problem, any kind of heart disorder, migraine, swelling in blood vessels etc.

How Does It Work?

Migraine is thought to occur due to an abnormal brain activity temporarily affecting nerve signals, chemicals and blood vessels in the brain.
Ergotamine works by preventing blood vessels in the head from expanding and causing headaches.
Caffeine increases the absorption of ergotamine in the brain and also enhances the vasoconstrictive effect of ergotamine and thus, helps in narrowing the blood vessels in the brain.
