Description

Midzol Injection is an anaesthetic medication used for maintaining unconsciousness or sleep during surgical procedures. It can be used to sedate patients in intensive care units (ICUs) and administer

anaesthesia before surgery. It causes drowsiness, relieves anxiety, and prevents any memory of the surgical event. The active ingredient in Midzol Injection is Midazolam. This ingredient causes loss of consciousness for a short period, which helps to carry out surgical procedures or diagnostic procedures without pain or discomfort. Midazolam belongs to the benzodiazepines class of medications. The mode of action of Midzol Injection is by enhancing the inhibitory action of the GABA-A receptor, an inhibitory channel that decreases excess neuronal activity in the brain. This effect leads to central nervous system (CNS) depression and induces anaesthetic effects. Midzol Injection should be administered in a clinical or hospital setting by doctors or trained healthcare professionals. The use of Midzol Injection is reserved only for health care personnel trained in anesthesiology. Side effects of Midzol Injection include sleepiness, dizziness, sneezing, hiccups, shallow breathing, and pain at the Injection site.
