Metsmall 500 MG Description
Metsmall 500 mg tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus (also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes). It contains Metformin as its active ingredient. This medicine helps to lower the raised blood sugar levels. This medicine is also given to women who are suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) to control their blood sugar levels, as this condition makes them prone to diabetes.
Those suffering from kidney, heart and liver disease should be cautious while taking these tablets. Keep your vitamin B12 levels under check. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor and for the prescribed duration. It should be taken with or after having food.
Glycomet tablet, Okamet 500 tablet, Glyciphage 500 tablet, Metgem 500 tablet and Metfor 500 tablet are some other medicines with metformin.
