Novopen 4 Pen

The Novopen 4 Pen is a reusable insulin pen designed to make daily injections easier and more reliable. You can set the dose in 1-unit increments, up to a maximum of 60 units, which helps provide precise control. A clear click sound indicates that the full dose has been administered. This is a reusable insulin delivery device.

It does not contain any medicinal ingredients.

It is used with 3 mL PenFill insulin cartridges.

You may notice mild skin reactions at the injection site, such as redness, itching, swelling, or small bruises.

Repeated use in the same spot may cause fat lumps or changes under the skin (lipodystrophy).

If the pen is not primed properly or the needle is bent or blocked, it may lead to under-delivery of insulin.

Incorrect use of the pen may increase the chance of very low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia). Always follow your doctor’s advice for safe insulin use.

Insert a 3 mL PenFill insulin cartridge into the pen and attach a new sterile needle.

Before each injection, prime the pen by selecting a small dose and pressing until a drop of insulin appears.

Turn the dial to set your prescribed dose in 1-unit steps.

Press the button fully to inject and wait at least 6 seconds before removing the needle.

Remove the needle right after use and throw it away safely in a sharps container.

Precautions and Warnings

Safety and Storage Information

Store the pen with insulin between 15°C and 30°C, following the guidelines for insulin storage.

Gently clean the outside of the pen with a damp cloth. Do not wash, soak, or oil it.

Always keep a spare pen or delivery device ready in case of damage.

Store the pen, needles, and cartridges safely out of the reach of children.

Avoid keeping the pen in cars, refrigerators, or places with extreme heat or cold.
