Lower Cvd Capsule is a combination medicine used to reduce the risk of heart disorders like heart attack and chest pain. It contains three active ingredients-atorvastatin, clopidogrel and acetylsalic

ylic acid as an active ingredient. This combination is used to prevent heart disorders like heart attack and chest pain. Abnormal blood clot formation and high cholesterol are some of the important factors that contribute to heart disorders. This medicine thereby acts by reducing abnormal blood clots and also cholesterol levels. Maintain a healthy lifestyle along with this medicine. You should have low-fat, less oily and avoid junk, packaged and carbonated food and drinks. You should also avoid drinking and smoking along with this medicine.

Contraindications of Lower Cvd Capsules

If you are allergic to atorvastatin, clopidogrel, acetylsalicylic acid or any other ingredients of this medicine.
If you are allergic to similar medicines other salicylates or NSAID's.
If you have any pre-existing health conditions like liver or kidney problems, stomach ulcers, gout, clotting problem, heart-related disorders, etc.
If you have any condition that causes bleeding like stroke, stomach ulcer.
If you are already taking medicines for hepatitis, arthritis or cancer.
If you notice any unexplained abnormal blood tests for liver function.
If you are not using proper contraception methods.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pregnancy

Can I take the Lower Cvd Capsule during pregnancy?

It is not recommended during pregnancy as it may result in harmful effects on the unborn baby. When pregnancy is detected, this medicine should be discontinued immediately. Proper birth control measures should be taken while consuming it for at least 6 months. If you are pregnant or think you may be or are planning for a baby, you should consult your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I take the Lower Cvd Capsule while breastfeeding?

Lower Cvd passes into the breastmilk and could lead to side effects in the newborn baby. Hence this medicine should not be used during breastfeeding. You should consult your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed the Lower Cvd Capsule?

Lower Cvd is unlikely to affect the ability to drive. However, side effects like dizziness have been noticed while using this medicine. Hence it is recommended to avoid driving if you experience dizziness or are unable to stay alert.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the Lower Cvd Capsule?

You should avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may cause stomach and intestine bleeding and can also worsen the side effects of this medicine.
