Loparin tablets contain a medicine called enoxaparin. This chemical is derived from heparin. It is used to prevent blood clots in patients who are on bed rest or who have had knee, stomach surgery or

  • Prevention and treatment of blood clots in legs of patients due to surgery, or severely restricted movement
  • Prevention and treatment of complications due to the restricted blood supply to any part of the body because of angina (chest pain) or heart attack

Contraindications of Loparin 60 MG

  • Allergy to heparin or derivatives, enoxaparin or pork products or other constituents of this medicine
  • History of platelet deficiency in the blood along with a positive test for anti-platelet antibodies cause by heparin or enoxaparin
  • Active bleeding or conditions that have high risk of bleeding
  • Anaesthesia by spinal or epidural route or loco-regional route should not be given if enoxaparin has been administered in the last 24 hours
