Interactions with other medicines
- Ibuprofen with Lioton Gel 20gm is not recommended because co-administration of these two medications may raise the risk of bleeding
- Lioton Gel 20gm is known to interact with pain killers (salicylic acid, ibuprofen, indomethacin, phenylbutazone, and celecoxib)
- Lioton Gel 20gm might interact with anti-malarial (hydroxychloroquine) by exaggerating the effects of anti-malarial medications
- Lioton Gel 20gm may interact with the blood thinner (abciximab, eptifibatide, dipyridamole) and increased risk of haemorrhage
