- Treatment of psychotic disorders
- Treatment of schizophrenia
- Treatment of mania of bipolar disorder
- Treatment of nausea and vomiting
- Treatment of uncontrollable hiccups
- Treatment of Anxiety before surgery
- Treatment of Tetanus
- Treatment of severe behavioural problems in children such as hyperexcitability and hyperactivity along with aggressiveness, impulsiveness and unsteady mood

Directions for Use
- Largactil 50 mg tablets are to be taken by mouth with a glass of water.
- Swallow the medicine whole without crushing or biting on it.
- It can be taken with or without food as this medicine does not upset the stomach.
- Take the tablet around the same time every day.
- Do not stop the medicine without talking to the doctor.
- Check the expiry date on the strip of the medicine before taking it.

Overdose
- Symptoms of an overdose of Largactil 50 mg may include excessive sleepiness, fast and irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, fainting, uncontrollable jerky movements, restlessness, fits, dry mouth, muscle spasm, severe constipation, cramps in the stomach, difficulty in breathing, and coma. Call your doctor immediately if you experience these symptoms.

- Medicines used for diabetes
- Blood-thinning medicines such as warfarin
- Medicines for heartburn or acidity called antacids
