Intalith Cr 450 mg is from the psychological class of medicine called 'Antimanic agents' or 'Mood stabilisers’. It is used to treat mood disorders such as mania, recurrent depression and bipolar d
isorders. Bipolar disorder is also a mental disorder with extreme mood swings such as from the hyper stage of mania to low mood like depression. Intalith Cr 450 mg contains lithium that helps by increasing the action of chemical messengers in the brain, removing the unnecessary and unusual movement of nerve cells in the brain. This medicine should not be taken without the consultation of a doctor. Take the medication at the same time of the day with food for better absorption. Regular blood tests should be done while taking Intalith Cr 450 mg tablet, just to monitor the levels of lithium in the blood.
