Medical Description

Hifenac Ta Tablet belongs to the class of analgesics and is used in the symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain. Pain can be temporary and acute or long-lasting and chronic. Acute pain is for a short time that is caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone or other organs. Chronic pain lasts for a longer duration and can be caused due to pathologies like nerve damage, osteoarthritis, etc. People taking Hifenac Ta Tablet may experience nausea, vomiting, anxiety, stomach pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, dryness in the mouth, dizziness, sleepiness, heartburn. The patient may not experience all the side effects in the same way. Consult your doctor if you notice any abnormal side effects of Hifenac Ta. Stop taking this medicine immediately if you experience tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, fever, severe skin rashes, increased heart rate, and any signs of hypersensitivity.

  • Do not take Hifenac Ta tablet or take with caution:

  • If you have a heart problem
  • If you have ever had a seizure or fit, manic episodes or bipolar disorder
  • If you bruise easily

The Hifenac Ta Tablet combines three medications: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Tramadol. Aceclofenac in Hifenac Ta Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and also known as NSAID in short. Paracetamol is a common pain killer and has an antipyretic effect, reducing fever, whereas Tramadol is an opioid analgesic. Acclofenac and Paracetamol use the exact mechanism to block the transmission of pain messages in the brain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic that works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to reduce pain levels.

  • Hifenac Ta Tablet interacts with certain pain medications such as nimesulide, methimazole, pentazocine; monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) such as phenelzine, rasagiline; barbiturates such as phenobarbitone; HIV medines such as ritonavir; anticoagulants like warfarin.
