Glycolate 1 tablet is used in the treatment of peptic (stomach) ulcers. It is also used as a general anaesthetic. It contains glycopyrrolate as its active component. This medicine should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Before starting Glycolate 1 tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Glycolate 1 tablet?

Glycolate 1 tablet may cause drowsiness & dizziness. Avoid driving if you experience any such side effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Glycolate 1 tablet?

Avoid consuming alcohol with this medicine, as it may worsen the side effects of this medicine.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You are suffering from any heart, liver kidney disorder
You are pregnant or are planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding
You are taking a medication containing potassium chloride
You have an eye condition – glaucoma
You have difficulty urinating
You have an overactive thyroid
You have an enlarged prostate

You are suffering from a condition called myasthenia gravis – which causes muscle weakness
You are going to undergo any surgery or operation including dental surgery.
Avoid going to any hot or very warm temperatures; contact your doctor if you experience symptoms like fever, shallow breathing, loss of consciousness, or palpitation.

Directions for Use of Glycolate 1 MG

Glycolate 1 tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
You should not consume more than that prescribed by your doctor.
