Gluconil M Tablet Description

Gluconil M Tablet consists of two active components, namely, metformin and glyburide. This tablet is used to treat patients with type 2 diabetes. Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver,

slows glucose absorption from the intestines, and increases insulin sensitivity, resulting in increased utilisation of glucose by the body. Glyburide lowers blood sugar by increasing the insulin released by the pancreas. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects after taking this medicine.
