Medical Description
Gemer DS 1 tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It contains a combination of glimepiride and metformin as active ingredients. Gemer DS 1 tablet is used to manage blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes when glimepiride or metformin alone is not effective. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it or have type 1 diabetes. Glycomet GP 1 forte tablets, Gluconorm G 1 forte tablets and Amaryl M 1 forte tablets are a few other examples of medicines with a combination of glimepiride and metformin.
Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. - If you are allergic to metformin, glimepiride, or any of the ingredients of Gemer DS 1 tablet.

- If you have kidney or liver disorders.
- If you are undergoing dialysis.
- If you have type 1 diabetes.

- Gemer DS 1 tablet contains a combination of glimepiride and metformin as active ingredients.

- Metformin decreases the absorption in the intestine and the production of sugar by the liver.
