Medical Description

Frisium Tablet is a prescription medication indicated for people with seizures. It is specifically recommended to a person with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. It is also used for the treatment of the person having anxiety. Frisium Tablet has Clobazam as the main ingredient. Clobazam is a type of benzodiazepine that regulates certain chemicals that help decrease the brain's electrical activity. It can have some side effects like tiredness, vomiting, constipation, change in appetite, difficulty in speaking and swallowing. Frisium is known to cause skin rashes in the first 8 weeks of the treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice any rash. You should take Frisium tablet only with a doctor’s recommendation, and please adhere to the prescribed schedule and dosage. Always give a complete medical history to the doctor for the best advice.

Driving

Directions for Use

  • Frisium Tablet should be taken only with a doctor’s prescription. You can have the Frisium tablet with or without food.
  • However, you should maintain a strict schedule and have the tablet at the same time every day.
  • The tablet has to be taken orally with some water. Do not distort the tablet by crushing or breaking it for use.

Missed a Dose

You can take the Frisium tablet as soon as you remember missing the dose. If it is almost the time for the next dose, skip the dose and continue with the following prescribed dose. Set an alarm to remind you to take medicine in case you tend to forget to take the tablet quite often.

  • Alprazolam ( anti-anxiety medicine), Levocetirizine (anti-allergic medicine)- increase the severity of side effects
