Uses of Frext Cr 100 MG

  • According to CDSCO, Frext CR100 tablet is used in the treatment of:
  • Depression
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Panic attacks in panic disorder

Contraindications of Frext Cr 100 MG

  • Do not take Frext CR100 tablets or use with caution:
  • If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Fluvoxamine or any other ingredients in this medication; do not use this medicine
  • If you have low sodium levels
  • If you have a family history of depressive illness
  • If you have a history of mania or bipolar illness, use caution as this medicine can sometimes cause or aggravate these conditions.
  • If you have glaucoma (an eye disorder); use Frext 100CR tablets with caution
  • If you have suicidal thoughts; tell your doctor right away
  • If you have an intestinal ulcer (bleeding in the gut); use Frext 100CR tablets with caution
  • If you have a history of liver disease; use Frext 100CR tablets with caution
  • If you use monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs); Frext 100CR tablets may raise the risk of side effects
  • If you have a history of kidney disease; dose adjustments for Frext CR100 may be necessary

Pregnancy

Breast Feeding

  • You have a history of seizures. Frext CR100 tablets can worsen your condition.
  • You want to stop this medication. Do not abruptly discontinue taking Frext CR100 tablets; this can cause withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, sleeplessness, restlessness, and anxiety.
