• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in the Fortwin injection.
• If you can control the pain by using other pain killers.
• If you have any kind of pre-existing medical condition such as heart problems, blockades in bowel or stomach or intestines, stomach ache, respiratory problem, etc.
• If you have any head injury.
• If you have a known history of fits.
• If you have a habit of drinking alcohol.
• If you recently had or have a planned surgery.

• Drowsiness
• Nausea
• Lack of sleep
• Dry mouth
• Problem with vision
• Low sex drive
• Vomiting
• Headache
• Sweating

Other General Warnings

• You have any pre-existing medical condition such as liver or kidney problem, heart problem, migraine, heart disorder, high/low blood pressure, the problem with your thyroid gland, depression, psychiatric problems, etc.
• You are a pregnant or nursing woman. If a doctor prescribes you this medicine during pregnancy and lactation, then you should be very careful and watch the baby for any kind of unusual symptoms like shakiness, breathing problem, fever, vomit etc and immediately report to the doctor.
• You may develop the chances of opioid abuse, misuse or addiction.
• You notice any unusual signs and symptoms while in treatment with this medicine.
• You are already taking any other oral medicines like opioids along with the Fortwin injection. It can cause more drowsiness, breathing problems, decreased awareness, etc.

• This medicine will be given in the hospital by your doctor or nurse as an injection.
• Please follow any aftercare instructions given by your doctor.

• Store this medicine as per the instructions given on the packaging box.
• Protect it from bright light.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way the Fortwin injection works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines received at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might receive to avoid any possible interaction. Also, you should inform your doctor if you or your child has a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled.
• Especially, if you are taking medicines like other sedatives, muscle relaxants, general anaesthetics, psychiatric related medicines, alcohol, linezolid, buprenorphine, butorphanol, water pills, medicines for migraine, St. John's Wort (a herbal medicine), etc.
