Description

Contraindications
- Do not take Fluprint P tablets, or use caution:
- If you are allergic to any component of Fluprint P Tablet, i.e. flupirtine and paracetamol.
- If you have liver disease or liver inflammation that affects the liver's normal functioning.
- If you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness).
- If you have been diagnosed with brain disorders, seizures, or epilepsy.
- If you have any gall bladder disease.
- If you have a history of alcohol dependence
- If you have severe kidney-related disorders.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Fluprint P tablet is a combination of two medicines: flupirtine (100 mg) and paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 mg).
Paracetamol/acetaminophen is an analgesic (painkiller) and antipyretic (lowers fever) medicine. It relieves pain and reduces fever by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, a hormone responsible for pain and inflammation in the body. Flupirtine belongs to the non-opioid analgesics class of medication. It works by blocking the glutamate N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor, which produces pain signals and thus helps in the management of pain. Apart from this, flupirtine also possesses muscle relaxant properties that further reduce pain....
Directions for Use
- Take Fluprint P tablets exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
- Take Fluprint P tablets with or without food or per the doctor's advice.
- Swallow the whole tablet orally with a full glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.
- Do not stop taking Fluprint P tablets abruptly, as it can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
- Do not take Fluprint P tablets with other medicines without keeping your doctor in the loop.
- Do not exceed the dosage of Fluprint P tablets on your own, even if you do not feel its effects.

- Coadministration of Fluprint P tablets with carbamazepine is not advisable as carbamazepine induces hepatic enzymes. Fluprint P tablet component flupirtine may interact with paracetamol and increase the hepatotoxic potential of paracetamol; thus, hepatic transaminases levels should be monitored when both the medicines are used concomitantly....
Storage and disposal
Store Fluprint P tablets at room temperature in a cool and dry area, away from sunlight. Keep Fluprint P tablets away from the reach of children and pet animals. Do not remove the medicine from its original packaging until it's time to take it.
Do not flush Fluprint P tablets down the toilet or throw them into the dustbin. Medication disposed of in this manner may contaminate the environment. Properly dispose of Fluprint P tablets when expired or no longer required....
