Fluprint P Tablet 10
Description
Fluprint P tablet is a prescription medication used for relieving pain and inflammation. It can be used in acute and chronic pain, fever, headache, joint pains, dysmenorrhea (period pain), traumatic
injury, postoperative pain, toothache after dental extraction, tumour pain, and musculoskeletal pain. The active ingredients in Fluprint P tablets are flupirtine and paracetamol/acetaminophen. Flupirtine is a non-opioid analgesic that helps treat moderate to severe pain. Paracetamol is an antipyretic medicine that reduces fever and relieves pain. Together, this combination of medicine has more benefits in relieving pain than taking both these combinations separately. The doctor's directions for use of Fluprint P tablets should be strictly followed. It is important to inform the doctor of the affected person's complete medical history and current medications. The dose of Fluprint P tablets should be carefully monitored, especially in older adults and those with liver and kidney problems.

This is important as the Fluprint P tablet interacts with many medicines, making it less effective or increasing its side effects. Some examples include:...
- Fluprint P tablet interaction with benzodiazepines (alprazolam, diazepam, and clonazepam) and other sedatives potentiate dizziness and drowsiness.
- Fluprint P tablet interaction with anticoagulant medicine like warfarin increases the risk of warfarin toxicity and may lead to bleeding.
- Coadministration of Fluprint P tablets with carbamazepine is not advisable as carbamazepine induces hepatic enzymes. Fluprint P tablet component flupirtine may interact with paracetamol and increase the hepatotoxic potential of paracetamol; thus, hepatic transaminases levels should be monitored when both the medicines are used concomitantly....
