Flagyl 400 tablet is an anti-infective medicine. It is used for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and parasites. Flagyl 400 tablet is effective for the treatment of various infections of

the blood, stomach, intestine, tooth, skin, lungs, bones, genital tract, etc. It is also used to prevent infection after an operation or surgery. Flagyl 400 tablet contains metronidazole as the active ingredient. It works by preventing the growth of the organism that causes infection by interrupting its vital process. Take Flagyl 400 tablet in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You can take it with or after meals. Do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better within a few days. Always finish the course of prescribed antibiotic medicines for effective treatment. If you experience common side effects like diarrhoea after taking this medicine, it is suggested to drink enough fluids and stay hydrated.
