Fistent 250 Mg Injection 5 Ml

• Treatment of estrogen receptor-positive, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women, including those who have not previously received endocrine therapy or whose disease has relapsed or progressed following endocrine therapy.
• In combination with palbociclib for hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in women who have received prior endocrine therapy.
• In combination with capivasertib for hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer with specified PIK3CA, AKT1 or PTEN alterations following recurrence or progression on or after endocrine-based therapy.

• If you have a known hypersensitivity or severe allergic reaction to fulvestrant or any of the inactive excipients, such as castor oil.
• If you have severe liver impairment.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• It should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years, as safety and efficacy have not been established.

Other General Warnings

• You have pre-existing mild to moderate liver impairment, as careful monitoring is required.
• You have severe kidney impairment.
• You have a bleeding disorder or are taking anticoagulant medications, due to the intramuscular injection route.
• You experience severe pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site that does not subside.
• You notice signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or upper abdominal pain.
• You have osteoporosis or other concerns regarding bone health.

• Do not attempt to self-administer or prepare this medication at home.
• Follow the prescribed monthly schedule closely as advised by your doctor.
• Keep all scheduled clinic appointments for your injections and clinical check-ups.

• Store the prefilled syringes in a refrigerator at 2-8°C in their original carton to protect them from light.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Clinical staff manages proper disposal of syringes, needles, and medical packaging in accordance with hospital biomedical waste protocols.

• Keep all scheduled clinic appointments for your monthly intramuscular injections to ensure steady treatment efficacy.
• Report any severe pain, swelling, or persistent lumps at the injection site to your nurse or doctor immediately.
