Uses of Finobrate 200 MG
- For reducing raised levels of fat (triglycerides) with normal levels of good fat (HDL).
- For reducing raised levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in patients who are at risk of heart disease when statin alone is not sufficient.
- For reducing high levels of fat (cholesterol and triglycerides) when statins cannot be given or stand insufficient when given alone.

Directions for Use of Finobrate 200 MG
- Finobrate Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
Interactions of Finobrate 200 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of Finobrate Tablet with blood thinners (aspirin, warfarin) may increase the risk of bleeding
- Reversible problems related to kidneys have been reported when Finobrate Tablet is given in patients taking medicines for lowering immunity (cyclosporin)
- Use of fenofibrate with other fat lowering medicines(other fibrates and statins) should be done carefully as it increases the risk of muscle damage
- Effects of this medicine may be reduced in patients taking birth control pills (oestrogen-containing oral contraceptives)
- Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparation, and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible drug interactions
