Medical Description

Duvadilan Inj 2ml belongs to the class of medications known as vasodilators, which are used to increase the flow of blood in blood vessels.

Uses of Duvadilan Inj 2ml

Duvadilan Inj 2ml uses include treatment of conditions where blood flow is to be improved such as cerebral vascular insufficiency (reduced blood flow to the brain), arteriosclerosis, in thromboangiitis obliterans, which is an inflammatory disease of the blood vessels (e.g., Buerger's disease) and in Raynaud’s disease (inadequate blood flow to the toes/fingers in a cold environment). It can also be used to relax the smooth muscles of the uterus to stop premature labour.

Contraindications of Duvadilan Inj 2ml

Duvadilan Inj 2ml is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to isoxsuprine, have hypotension or an artery that bleeds, rapid heartbeat or any condition that recently led to bleeding.

Side effects of Duvadilan Inj 2ml

The Duvadilan Inj 2ml side effects are nervousness, weakness, rash, nausea, vomiting, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, severe dizziness, rapid or irregular heartbeats, flushes, allergic reaction, increase in heart rate of the mother or infant in pregnant women, reduced calcium, glucose and blood pressure in infants whose mothers used the medicine
