Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

The duloxetine in Dulotin Tab works by restoring the balance of some natural substances in the brain. These natural substances are serotonin and norepinephrine. Serotonin is associated with positive feelings and controls anxiety, mood and other activities. Norepinephrine controls our feelings of alertness and energy. When these two substances are regulated by duloxetine, the patient feels calm, happy and more productive. Dulotin Tab benefits include improved mood, reduced nervousness, increased appetite and more energy. In treating stress urinary incontinence, duloxetine works by increasing the serotonin and norepinephrine activity in the spinal cord. This enhances urethral closure forces, which prevents the involuntary loss of urine.
