• Ditryp H tablet is used for the following:
• Used for treatment of depression with anxiety

• Do not take Ditryp H tablet or take with caution:
• If you have glaucoma
• If you have heart disorders
• If you are allergic to benzodiazepines
• If you are allergic to tricyclic antidepressants
• If you have bleeding problems
• If you have liver disorders
• If you have problems like enlarged prostate that cause difficulty in urinating
• If you have a family history of substance abuse
• If you have a family history of suicide
• If you have a family history of mental conditions like bipolar disorder and psychosis

• The side effects of Ditryp H tab are as follows:
• Drowsiness
• Vivid dreams
• Bloating
• Confusion
• Nasal congestion
• Erectile dysfunction
• Ditryp H Tab side effects are rarely severe. These side effects recede as the body adjusts itself to this medicine. Consult your doctor if the side effects persist or turn severe.

Other General Warnings

• You have recently stopped smoking or you smoke. Cigarette smoking reduces the levels of chlordiazepoxide in blood.
• You get suicidal or self-harm thoughts while taking Ditryp H tablets.

• Consume Ditryp H Tab orally with water.
• Take Ditryp H Tab as directed by your doctor. Your doctor may start with a mild dose of Ditryp H tablet
• and gradually increase it depending on your reaction to the medicine and side effects.
• Do not take more than the recommended dose of Ditryp H tablet.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Ditryp H Tab may interact with medicines like monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Consuming Ditryp H tablets with monoamine oxidase inhibitors can cause a condition known as serotonin syndrome. The patient may suffer from symptoms like high fever, stiff muscles, confusion and fluctuations in blood pressure or heart rate.
• Combining Ditryp H Tab with opioids like codeine, morphine, oxycodone and hydrocodone makes you vulnerable to problems like slowed breathing, coma and severe drowsiness. In rare cases, it can even cause death.
• Taking Ditryp H Tab with antiarrhythmic drugs like Flecainide and Propafenone increases the risk of irregular heartbeats.
• Taking antidepressants like sertraline, fluoxetine and paroxetine with Ditryp H tablet can aggravate side effects like confusion, dizziness and heart attack.

Interactions with food items

• Ditryp H tablet interaction with food is usually uneventful. You can take Ditryp H Tab before or after food as prescribed by your doctor.
