Depakote 250 MG Description

Depakote 250mg tablet contains valproic acid as the active molecule. These tablets treat manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, seizures or fits (complex partial seizures and simple and com

plex absence seizures), and migraine headaches. Valproic acid stabilises various chemicals in the brain that affect mood, and electric impulses, thereby causing anti-convulsant and stabilising mood in patients with bipolar disorder. Depakote tablets are available only of doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by a doctor. These tablets are not recommended during pregnancy if you are trying to get pregnant or in children below two years. Depakote tablets commonly cause stomach pain, headache, back pain, blurred vision, hair loss, and fever as side effects. If these side effects persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
