Uses
- As per CDSCO, D Venlor Tablets are used for,
- Treatment of symptoms associated with major depressive disorder (improves mood and causes behaviour changes).

- You have self-harmful or suicidal thoughts after taking D Venlor Tablets.
- You are an elderly person over 65 years, the dose of this medicine should be carefully monitored to prevent serious side effects.
- You are on medication for blood pressure, consult your doctor to prevent unwanted effects.
- You notice unusual bleeding or bruising, as this medicine can increase the risk of bleeding.
- You are prone to bone fractures. This tablet can lower bone density.
- You stopped using D Venlor Tablets suddenly, as they can cause withdrawal symptoms like tremors, excessive sweating, vomiting, irritation, etc.
- You experience any changes in sexual functioning, as this medicine may lower your sexual desire and cause sexual dysfunction.
- You are using any ayurvedic or herbal medicines or supplements, talk to your doctor first to avoid any interactions as some of them can cause serious side effects.
Directions for Use
- Take the D Venlor Tablet exactly as directed by the doctor.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, even if you cannot feel its effects.
- You can take D Venlor Tablet with or without consuming food.
- Do not chew or break this tablet.
- Try to take the tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
- Do not take D Venlor Tablet with other medicines without informing your doctor.
- Do not discontinue D Venlor Tablet abruptly, as it can have side effects.

- D Venlor Tablet overdose can cause dizziness, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, drowsiness, slight tremor, anxiety, changes in blood pressure, confusion, agitation, sleep disturbances. Large overdoses can also produce mental status changes, changes in heart rate, delirium, seizures, and coma. If you overdose on D Venlor Tablet and experience any of these symptoms, immediately seek emergency medical treatment from a nearby hospital.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Do not take this medicine if you are using other antidepressants, like linezolid, methylene blue, etc., as it can cause severe reactions that can prove fatal.
- If you use blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines, D Venlor Tablet can increase the risk of bleeding or bruising.
- Do not take D Venlor Tablet if you are using opioid pain relievers, cough medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxants, or antihistamines (allergy medicine), like cetirizine, as it can cause excessive drowsiness.
- If you are taking medicines that increase serotonin-like St. John’s wort or antidepressants like fluoxetine, with D Venlor Tablet, they can cause serotonin toxicity, which results in life-threatening adverse effects.
Interactions with food items
- D Venlor Tablets do not have any known interactions with food. You can take this medicine before or after consuming food.
