Triquilar Strip Of 21 Tablets Description

Triquilar Tablet is an oral contraceptive pill containing a combination of two medicines, Levonorgestrel and Ethinylestradiol. It works by preventing the release of the egg and restricting the moveme

nt of the sperm in the womb. Thus, blocking its union with the egg. The common side effects of Triquilar Tablet are headache, nausea and breast pain. Mostly these side effects are temporary but if you feel the side effects persist, you should contact your doctor immediately. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have any liver or pancreas problems or have cancer of the breast, uterus or vagina. Inform your doctor, if you are above 35 years or smoke, and about all the medicines, herbs and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting this medicine.

Triquilar Tablet used as oral contraceptive for women.

Contraindications of Triquilar Strip Of 21 Tablets

If you are allergic to Levonorgesterol or Ethinylestradiol or any other ingredients of this medicine.
If you have a history of any blood clot formation or bleeding disorder.
If you have any problems with your heart like stroke, heart attack or chest pain.
If you have or had a history of migraine attacks.
If you had or have pancreas or liver problems.
If you have diabetes, high blood pressure or cholesterol.
If you have a history of vaginal bleeding (cause not established), absent periods for more than 3 months (amenorrhea).
If you have or are suspected of having breast cancer or cancer of the genital organs (private parts).
If you are taking treatment for Hepatitis C with a medicine that contains Ombitasvir/Paritaprevir/Ritonavir plus Dasabuvir.

Can I take Triquilar Tablet while breastfeeding?

Triquilar Tablet should not be used during breastfeeding as it passes into the breastmilk and may harm the breastfed baby. Moreover, it may also lead to a reduction in the amount of milk produced and may affect its quality. You should consult your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.

Can I drive if I have consumed Triquilar Tablet?

It is not expected that Triquilar Tablet will affect your ability to drive but if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert, you should avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Triquilar Tablet?

The consumption of alcohol does not affect the efficacy of Triquilar Tablet. These tablets can enhance the effects of alcohol and affect you adversely. Hence, it is best advised to avoid consuming alcohol while taking these tablets.
