Cetapin P 15mg Tablets 15'S Description
Cetapin M is an anti-diabetic medication containing metformin and pioglitazone. It is used to treat high blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus. The drug is a combination of met
formin and pioglitazone which improves the utilisation of insulin in the body. Common side effects of this medication include dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, hypoglycemia, and anaemia. The dose of the duration of this medicine varies among individuals depending on the severity and condition it is being used for. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of medication within 24 hours. If you observe any severe symptoms or have overdosed on the medication, contact your physician immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

- It is not advisable to use this medication with bosentan, which can elevate the liver enzymes
- Strong CYP2C8 inhibitors like gemfibrozil may increase the concentration of pioglitazone
- Concomitant use of CYP2C8 inducers like rifampin may decrease the concentration of pioglitazone
- Concomitant use of cimetidine with this medication may increase the accumulation of metformin
