Description
Celavi-Trio Tablet is a combination of three medicines, namely, olmesartan medoxomil, cilnidipine, and chlorthalidone. These medications are used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a si
ngle medication isn't working. It aids in the reduction of high blood pressure, lowering the risk of future heart attacks and strokes. Cilnidipine belongs to a class of medicines called as calcium channel blockers, Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker, while Chlorthalidone is a diuretic. Cilnidipine and olmesartan works by dilating the blood vessels whereas chlorthalidone causes removal of excess water and salt from the body. All these actions together contribute in lowering the blood pressure. This tablet should not be taken without doctor's prescription. The dose and duration for using Celavi tablet will be decided by the doctor. Do not consume these tables more or less than recommended dose and duration. Also, this tablet is not recommended in children.

Celavi-Trio Tablet contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, Cilnidipine, and Chlorthalidone, which are all used to treat high blood pressure. - Take the medicine all in at once without chewing, crushing, or breaking the tablet
- Celavi-Trio Tablet can be taken with or without food
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- The action of other blood pressure-lowering medicines can be increased when co-administered with Celavi tablet
- Chlorthalidone reduces lithium renal clearance, raising the risk of lithium toxicity
- Concomitant use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents may raise the risk of kidney problems and reduce the blood pressure lowering effects

Dosage
Overdose
Overdose may result in changes in heart rate and blood pressure, dizziness, weakness, and nausea. Contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately, in case of overdose.
Missed a Dose
Take Celavi-Trio Tablet as soon as you remember if you miss a dose. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses.
