Medical Description
Caldob cream is used for piles, also called haemorrhoids, to relieve pain, swelling, irritation and itching around the affected area. It contains a combination of aloe vera extract, hydrocortisone, calcium dobesilate, allantoin and lidocaine. Lidocaine numbs pain, hydrocortisone reduces local inflammation, calcium dobesilate supports small blood vessels, and aloe vera extract and allantoin soothe irritated skin. Caldob cream is applied to the affected area for short-term use as prescribed and does not replace assessment of unexplained or heavy bleeding.
