- You have a severe renal disease. The dosage of Bromex tablets may have to be adjusted. Please seek medical advice. There is limited evidence for the usage of Bromex Tablets in individuals with kidney illness.
- You have a severe liver illness. The dosage of Bromex tablets may need to be adjusted. Please seek medical advice. There is limited evidence for the usage of Bromex Tablets among patients with hepatic illness.
Directions for Use
- Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of Bromex Tablet.
- Swallow Bromex Tablet as a whole. Do not break, crush, or chew it.
- Bromex Tablet should be taken after a meal.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, it is best to take Bromex Tablet at the same time every day.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid adverse effects associated with medicine interaction, it is important to inform the doctor about all medicines and health supplements you are currently taking.
- Bromex Tablet should not be taken with some antihistamines such as diphenhydramine spray, ointment, and cream. Combining these medications may induce or exacerbate skin infections or rashes.
- Bromex Tablet should not be taken with some blood pressure medicines such as methyldopa, guanethidine, and some beta-blockers such as atenolol and calcium channel blockers such as nifedipine.
- Combining these medications may increase the likelihood of adverse reactions such as drowsiness and dizziness.
- Bromex Tablet should not be taken with some opioids and cough medications such as hydrocodone and codeine. Combining these medications may increase the likelihood of exacerbating drowsiness.
- Bromex Tablets should not be taken with some medications for sleep and anxiety disorders, such as lorazepam, alprazolam, and zolpidem. Combining these medications may induce sleepiness.
- Bromex Tablet should not be taken with MAO inhibitors such as linezolid, isocarboxazid, methylene blue, metaxalone, phenelzine, moclobemide, rasagiline, procarbazine, selegiline, safinamide, tranylcypromine. Combining these medications may induce severe or fatal medicine interactions.
Interactions with food items
- There is no known adverse interaction of Bromex Tablet with food. A regular diet can be continued unless advised otherwise by the physician.
