Medical Description
Betnesol-N eye/ear drops is used to treat redness, itching, and discomfort of eyes/ears caused due to bacterial infection. It contains betamethasone and neomycin as active substances. This eye/ear drop should be used externally only. Do not ingest this medicine. Avoid touching the dropper with your hands. Use this medicine in the exact dose and duration as recommended by the doctor.
Uses
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to betamethasone, neomycin, or any other component of Betnesol-N eye/ear drops.
- If you have viral, fungal, or any serious condition of the eye causing pus discharge or ulcers.
- If you have any problem in your eye, which has not been diagnosed by your doctor yet.
- If the pressure inside your eye is raised (glaucoma).
- If your eardrum is perforated.
- If you are suffering from viral or fungal infections of the respiratory system or sinuses.

- You have any severe infection, a viral or fungal disease.
- You do not find any improvement in your condition after using this medicine for about 7-days.
- You notice the worsening of your problem after using these drops.
- You have raised pressure in your eyes or you wear contact lenses.
- You have a viral or fungal infection of the eyes.
- You are diabetic, you have ulcers or pus discharge from your eyes.
- You experience discharge coming out of the ears or your eardrum is perforated.
Directions for Use
- Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow directions carefully and do not miss an application.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
- Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. The dropper must be kept clean to avoid infections.
- Use the exact number of drops as recommended by your doctor.
- If you have been prescribed any other eye/ear drops or ointments, keep an interval of at least 5 minutes between both the medicines.

- Store Betnesol-N eye/ear drops at a temperature below 25ºC in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
