Amilite Plus Tablets
Amilite Plus Tablets Description
Amilite Plus tablet contains a combination of two medicines - Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide. These tablets should be taken at a fixed time each day to maintain the balance between the chemical s
ubstances in the brain. The use of Amilite Plus tablets include management of depression, eating disorders, and panic disorders. Amilite Plus tablets prevent the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine at the nerve endings. Serotonin helps to give a sense of satisfaction and enhances the mood. On the other hand, norepinephrine helps increase the body's energy levels. Amilite Plus tablets take about 4-6 weeks to show effects. The most common side effects of Amilite Plus tablets are constipation, decrease in sexual desire, difficulty in urination, fatigue (tiredness), drowsiness, decreased appetite, and tremors. Most of the side effects are mild and should not interfere with your day-to-day activities. However, if the side effects increase in severity, you should consult your doctor. You should inform the doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions you have and about all the medicines you take before starting this medication. This would prevent any potential adverse interaction with other medicines. You should take this medicine at a dose and for a duration as advised by the doctor. Take it before or after having food. You should continuously monitor your symptoms. If you notice any drastic change in your behavior or notice any suicidal thoughts or thoughts related to self-harm, you should inform your doctor immediately.
