Dr. Tuhina Mishra has completed her M.B.B.S from Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. Currently, she holds the position of Associate Editor at Global Journal of Medical students. She is a reviewer at the journal ' Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research'. She has been writing content for Lexicon – an online medical magazine for 5 years. She has published over 8 research papers in various national and international journals. She was awarded with ICMR- STS Award in the year 2019 for one of her projects. She has been a part of various NGOs that work for the welfare of underprivileged sections of the society. Some of the organizations that she has worked with are Rotaract Club of the Caduceus ( RCC), Indian Medical Association Medical Students Network (IMA-MSN), Centre for energy and environmental sustainability (CEES), Medical students association of India( MSA-I), Asia safe abortion partnership, Switch India, and Triumph. She has organized free medical camps and blood donation drives in and around Mumbai. She has a strong sense of duty, a need for purpose, and a string belief in giving back to the society.
