- Alpam 0.25 mg tablet is used for the treatment of:

Contraindications
- Alpam 0.25 mg tablets are contraindicated in the following situations:
- If you are hypersensitive or allergic to alprazolam or any inactive ingredient in Alpam 0.25 mg tablet
- If you are using ketoconazole or itraconazole for fungal infections

Directions for Use
- Alpam 0.25 mg tablet is generally prescribed as a short-term treatment for 8-12 weeks. The medicine should be taken regularly during treatment.
- For optimal effects, maintain a proper schedule and take the tablets at the same time every day. This ensures a stable level of medicine in the body.
- Take Alpam 0.25 mg tablets as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it for use.
- Alpam Alpam 0.25 mg tablets can be taken with or without food. However, take the tablet with meals in case of any stomach issues.

- Aceclofenac (painkiller) can prolong the time to excrete alprazolam.

- Fluoxetine (antidepressant) and erythromycin and rifamycin (antibiotics) can increase the concentration of alprazolam in the body.
- Hydrocodone and tramadol (opioid painkillers) can lead to depressive effects on the nervous system.
- Codeine (in cough syrups and painkillers) can increase the severity of side effects.
Interactions with food items
- Grapefruit and its juice should be avoided when on treatment with Alpam 0.25 mg tablets.
