- Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet is useful in treating schizophrenia.
- Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet also treats manic episodes.

Contraindications
- If you have an allergy to Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet or Clozapine or any of its non-active ingredients, do not use the tablet
- If you have heart disease
- If you have liver problems
- If you have diabetes/ high blood sugar levels,
- If you have Parkinson’s disease (a type of nerve disease),
- If you have dementia (loss of memory)
- If you have fits
- If you have dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing)
- If you have symptoms, such as high body temperature and muscle stiffness
- If you have an abnormal tongue or face movements

- When you are on treatment with an Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet for a long time, you need to monitor your blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Long-term use of Alkepin Odt 100mg Tablet might increase your blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels.
Directions for Use
- Swallow Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass full of water.
- Do not chew/ break open/ crush Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet
- Take Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet with food or without food or as advised by your doctor
- For maximum benefits, take Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet at the same time every day or as suggested by your doctor. It will ensure there is a consistent level of medicine in your body

- Seek medical advice if you are on medicines that fight fungal infection, such as Fluconazole, Itraconazole, or Clotrimazole. Taking Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet on antifungals (fungal infection medicines) can cause severe adverse reactions.
- Seek medical advice if you are on fits medicines, such as Carbamazepine. Taking Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet on such medicines can increase the risk of side effects that affect your bone marrow function
- Inform your doctor if you are on any medicines before taking Alkepin Odt 100 mg Tablet. Do not take any medication without informing your doctor.
