Medical Description

Alex syrup is a cough and cold preparation. It provides relief from cough and other symptoms, like nose blockage, caused by allergies or the common cold.

It contains a combination of dextromethorphan, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine as active ingredients. Dextromethorphan helps suppress cough, phenylephrine provides relief from a blocked nose, and chlorpheniramine stops allergic symptoms like watery eyes and runny nose.

Some other syrups containing dextromethorphan, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine are Tusq Dx Cough syrup, Asthakind Dx Sugar-Free syrup, Chericof syrup, and Alex Sugar-Free syrup. Alex syrup should be taken in the exact dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. It can be taken with or without food. Shake the bottle well before each use.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the existing conditions and medications before starting treatment with Alex syrup.
