• If you have any known allergy to chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, phenylephrine or any ingredient of this syrup.

• If you are taking medicines to treat brain-related disorders.

• You have a blockage in the stomach, intestine, or any part of your digestive tract.
• You have an enlarged prostate gland (BPH) or have trouble in urination.
• You have a thyroid-related disorder or a tumour in the adrenal gland (Pheochromocytoma).
• You are suffering from an eye disorder called glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).

• Store Asthakind-DX SF syrup at room temperature in a cool and dry place.
• Protect it from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Asthakind Dx Sugar-Free syrup relieves cough and cold symptoms caused by infections or allergies. Only use as directed by your doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before use. Use a spoon or cup to measure the syrup as directed by your doctor. Take Asthakind Dx once a day, and do not exceed the prescribed dose. Before starting the syrup, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• If you feel drowsy or have blurry vision after taking this syrup, refrain from driving or using heavy machinery. If your cough and cold symptoms don't improve after a week, consult your doctor.

How Does It Work?

• Asthakind-DX SF Syrup combines cough suppression, antihistamine, and decongestant effects to relieve cold and allergy symptoms like dry cough, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and nasal congestion.
• Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that acts on a specific part of the cough centre or brain and reduces the cough.
• Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant. It works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passage, reducing the swelling and thereby relieving nasal congestion or blockage.
• Chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic agent that helps relieve allergy symptoms. It works by blocking the release of the specific natural substance histamine, which is responsible for allergic symptoms. Histamine is produced when the body detects any foreign substance.

Interactions with other medicines

• Asthakind-DX SF syrup should not be consumed with or at least after two weeks of consuming certain medicines used to treat brain-related disorders such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, selegiline, etc.
• Medicines used to treat infections (antibiotics), like linezolid, and medicines used to relax the muscles, like oxazepam & baclofen, should not be taken along with this syrup.
• You should always inform the doctor if you are taking any other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements to avoid any interaction.
