Medical Description

Tusq-DX syrup is a medicine that treats dry cough and other symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections, such as common colds or allergies. It is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Dextromethorphan, and Phenylephrine, and it belongs to a group of medicines called Antihistamines, Antitussives, and Decongestants. The common cold is a viral infection that affects the nose or throat and causes several symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sore throat, headaches, muscle aches, coughs, sneezing, fever, pressure in the ears and face, and loss of taste and smell.

Tusq-DX syrup is not suitable for children under two years of age, as it has not been studied for safety and efficacy in that age group. Before taking this medication, it is essential to inform your doctor if you have any underlying medical conditions such as kidney, lung, liver, heart, thyroid, or prostate problems, diabetes, fits, or glaucoma. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please use Tusq-DX syrup with caution, and consult your doctor before taking it.

One of the most common side effects of taking Tusq-DX syrup is drowsiness. If any of your symptoms worsen or persist, contact your doctor.
