Torleva 500 tablet is an anti-epileptic medication used to treat different types of epilepsy, also known as seizures or fits. It contains the active ingredient levetiracetam. Take Levipil exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not miss any doses or change the dosage without talking to your doctor.
People with epilepsy can take certain precautions to avoid seizures and stay safe: Take your medication as directed. This is the most important thing you can do to manage your epilepsy.
Avoid triggers. Some things can trigger seizures, such as lack of sleep, stress, flashing lights, alcohol, and drugs. Talk to your doctor about your triggers and how to avoid them.
Get enough sleep. Most adults need 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Not getting enough sleep can increase your risk of seizures.

Avoid dangerous activities. Some activities can be dangerous for people with epilepsy, such as swimming alone, climbing heights, or driving. Talk to your doctor about which activities are safe for you.
