• If you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredient present in Megalis 10 Tablet.
• If you are taking medicine known to cause vasodilator effects, such as amyl nitrate or nitrates.
• If you are taking riociguat medicine used to treat arterial blood pressure.
• If you have a known history of any heart problem, such as heart failure.
• If you had a stroke in the past 6 months, a heart attack in the last 90 days, or breathlessness or chest pain during sexual activity.
• If you have a known history of liver disorders, low blood pressure, stroke or heart blockage.
• If you have a known history of eye problems like retinitis pigmentosa (a genetic disorder that may cause loss of vision).
• If you are unsure whether you are taking this medicine, please carry the medicine packet with you to the clinic.

Other General Warnings

• You are a known patient with a history of heart problems.
• You have any physical deformities of the genital organ penis.
• You experience sudden vision loss or hearing loss.
• Your erection lasts for more than 4 hours after taking the medicine.
• This medication is not recommended for use in women.
• You have kidney or liver problems.
• Megalis 10 tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.

• Store in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
• Keep it away from children and pets.
• Dispose of any unused or expired medicine properly. Do not flush the medicine.

• Take Megalis 10 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor; do not self-medicate.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
• Take it at least 30–60 minutes before planned sexual activity for best results.
• Avoid taking more than one dose in a day.
• Do not consume alcohol, as it can reduce the effectiveness and increase side effects like dizziness.
• Do not take if you are on medicines containing nitrates or riociguat.
• If your erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention.
• Store the tablets in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
• Not recommended for use in women and children under 18 years.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Megalis 10 tablet work or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction. Also, you should inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled.
• Concomitant administration of Megalis 10 tablet along with medicines containing nitrates leads to severe hypotensive effects (low blood pressure).
• In particular, if you are taking medicines to treat heart failure, anti-HIV medicine, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for a brain-related disorder.

Interactions with food items

• High-fat meals: May delay the onset of action, so it might take longer to work.
• Grapefruit or grapefruit juice: Can increase blood levels of tadalafil and risk of side effects, avoid consuming.
• Alcohol: Increases the chances of dizziness, low blood pressure, and reduced ability to achieve an erection, avoid or limit intake.
• Caffeine: No significant interaction, but excessive intake may worsen headache or palpitations.
